• Tracking queries: Container numbers and bill of lading numbers you submit are sent to shipping line systems to retrieve tracking data. We may log these queries for debugging and service improvement.
• Email addresses: If you choose to subscribe to carrier availability notifications, we store your email address solely for that purpose.
• Usage data: Basic server logs (IP address, timestamp, request path) are collected for security and operational purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

• Process your tracking requests and display results
• Send carrier availability notifications (if subscribed)
• Monitor and improve service reliability
• Detect and prevent abuse

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. Tracking queries are forwarded to the respective shipping line systems (e.g., Evergreen, MSC, Maersk) to retrieve tracking data. We have no control over how shipping lines handle these requests on their end.

4. Data Retention

Tracking query logs are retained for up to 30 days for debugging purposes. Email addresses for notifications are retained until you unsubscribe. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

5. Cookies

Container Path does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. No personal data is stored in your browser.

We implement reasonable security measures to protect the information we collect. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
